Packing & Delivery

The packaging and transportation conditions for helium are as follows: 

1.Packaging: Helium is generally packaged in high-pressure steel cylinders. The cylinders are gray in color and have the word "Helium" in green font. The filling of gaseous helium should be carried out in accordance with the national standard GB14194. 

2.Storage and Transportation: Helium is non-corrosive. At room temperature, it can be stored in any common material. At low temperatures, copper, aluminum and stainless steel are mainly used. Helium can be transported through pipelines or directly by transportable gas cylinders, with the cylinder sizes ranging from 1L to 30m3. Liquid helium is transported and stored industrially using liquid helium transportation tanks or fixed storage tanks, with the volume typically ranging from 100 to 500L. 

3.Storage: Helium gas should be stored upright in a well-ventilated area that is not affected by the weather. The storage temperature should not exceed 52℃. There should be no flammable materials in the storage area and it should be kept away from frequently accessed areas and emergency exits. No salt or other corrosive materials should be present. For unused gas cylinders, the valve covers and the sealing of the output valves should be protected to ensure their integrity. Empty cylinders should be stored separately from full cylinders. Avoid excessive storage and long storage periods. Maintain good storage records .
